HIDDEN LAKE HIKE
This “dry lake” is one of the two known in the Hajar Mountains.
The most famous one is in Musandam (Oman) and is called the Rawdah Bowl.
It`s not an easy hike. There is much bouldering but it is fun.

This is the Rawdah Bowl in Musandan (northern part of Oman). A wide plateau surrounded by steep hills.
Start point of the hike: at N25° 54′ 30.6″ E56° 08′ 28.7″ Elevation 433 m
There are a few trees which give the welcome shade and shelter, but they are rare!! So be prepared to face the sun. Don`t go in the summer.
At the moment this Hidden Lake in the Hajar Mountains is a dry lake.

Park your sedan car on the tar road or park your 4×4 downhill, next to the settlement
Follow the wadi, and enjoy the boulder hopping.
Take right at N25 55′ 09.50″ E56 08′ 33.97″ elevation 551 m
You have reached the bowl at N25 55′ 26.36″ E56 09′ 17.77″ elevation 720 m
